Some of my recent picks:
Gaia Project: Has everything I like: perfect information, faction abilities with some game changing powers, everything is modular. Awesome design everywhere. Just One: Already nominated for game of the year, and will most likely win for 2019. Backwards Codenames :D Santorini New Edition: Has replaced chess for me for a while. Hmm....I'm not sure I've played many post-2015 board games. I just picked one up a few months ago called Stupid Deaths or something and it was OK, as well a Golden Girls trivia game, but overall I still like the classics...Scrabble, Life, etc. Effing loathe Monopoly, though, lol.
