Some of my recent picks:

Gaia Project: Has everything I like: perfect information, faction abilities with some game changing powers, everything is modular. Awesome design everywhere.

Just One: Already nominated for game of the year, and will most likely win for 2019. Backwards Codenames :D

Santorini New Edition: Has replaced chess for me for a while. Love my 2 player abstracts

Oh man. Not only have I not played a board game released after 2015; I'm pretty sure I haven't played a board game at all after 2015.

2015-2019 has arguably not been as strong as 2005-2015, but there's still lots of great hidden gems no one will ever know about until a youtuber makes it viral.

Hmm....I'm not sure I've played many post-2015 board games. I just picked one up a few months ago called Stupid Deaths or something and it was OK, as well a Golden Girls trivia game, but overall I still like the classics...Scrabble, Life, etc. Effing loathe Monopoly, though, lol.
