Tennessee District Attorney Prick, Republican Craig Northcott is facing calls to resign after he said that he WOULDN'T protect LGBTQ people under domestic violence laws because he does NOT believe in same-sex marriage!!

He made the comments at the 2018 Chafer Theological Seminary Pastor's Conference and gave a speech while discussing the "church's" role in government

In the clip, a conference member asked about a hypothetical situation like Kim Davis, the heifer who refused handing out marriage certificates for same sex couples and was rightfully jailed

He then launched into attack on the Supreme Court and fires back at the "five" people in black dresses that rule them who said "it just takes 5 votes, it doesn't take all nine" alluding the passing of gay marriage in 2015

He said "DA's have what's called prosecutorial discretion. Y'all need to know who your DA is. Y'all give us a lot of authority whether you know it or not. We can choose to prosecute anything, we can choose not to prosecute anything, up to and including murder, it's our choice, unfettered"

He said hiring a "GOOD CHRISTIAN MAN" in the position was the only way to adequately handle that power between assault and domestic assault as he alluded that domestic assault carries more punishment and you can forever lose your right to a gun

Northcott then said "So the social engineers on the Supreme Court decided that we now have homosexual marriage. I disagree with them. What do i do with domesticc assaults? One hand, i don't prosecute them, becasue i don't recognize it as marriage, on the other hand, if i don't prosecute them, then the sinner, the immoral guy, gets less punishment, what do you do??

He went on to say the enhanced punishment for domestic violence is to regoznie the sanctity of marriage and that with gays, there's no marriage to protect so he won't prosecute people who commit violence on them!!

The comments were met with outrage as Chris Sanders, executive of the LGBTQ group Tennessee Equality calls it disturbing and told Dailymail at a time when being Gay is at a vulnerable time and the DA's comments only furthers the danger they are in.

The Centre for American Islamic Relations have also launched a formal complaint against him
