I had given this guy $5 a couple weeks ago at this gas station I frequent. He has a smartphone and watches YouTube all the time just sitting there with his bicycle and cart.

Whelp, tonight he was there again. He ignored me going in, but coming out he asked me if I had any more money. So I told him I don't have any cash on me. Apparently didnt believe me and said come on man, how you not gonna have any cash with a nice truck like that. And then he said to the effect of I was the only one that gave him more than change. (I knew that was bullshit) So I said, bro I gave you my last $5 cash a couple weeks ago when I was filling up. He said, $5 don't last me but half a day. So I told him sorry and wished him good luck. He had this disappointed look on his face and continued watch videos on his smartphone.

Anyway, don't come in here agreeing with me. I want you guys to each take a giant shit on me and agree with the beggar. Please make your replies entertaining, but don't get modded.

If you think that is unbelievable, just last night at Hungry Howies by the ocean here in Myrtle Beach, a man dressed in full Hawaiian beach chill gear came up to me looking like a vacationing business exec and asked me if he could have a slice of my pizza that I just got from the building.

Dude looked nothing like a homeless person, and had nice suave silver and black hair, nice eyes, and medium lean with a tan. He looked similar to a VP of a national brand that owns one of our resort villas.

So I guess even if he was legit, dude is good looking enough to get lots of help. Sadly people with really good looks have easier lives more often than not. I didn't feel the least bit bad for him.

If Mead it right, his phone was given to him by a drug dealer. Maybe hes some liaison for them so they give him a phone with unlimited data. Where he sits doesnt have free WiFi unless he has their password.

He claims he used to run a Sunoco back in the day. I actually believe him. Peoples lives really can change from decade to decade. Besides, depending on where you are, running a gas station isnt very profitable. An Arab friend I knew ran one in Bowling Green where I went to university. He moved a mile up to Main Street with no gas station and just sold convenience items and head shop type of stuff.

He definitely has hella battery power. I have one of those new S10 5G with the 4500mAh batteries and it only lasts about 4 hours if Im watching videos or playing Azur Lane. I do cold charges for maximum battery life too.

Depends on your usage and the charger. If you have to charge you phone a good amount because you use it frequently, they can be really handy. Though, you have to have a good one. Mine can change my phone from 1% up to 100% pretty quick. Even while I'm still using it. And it can do it like 2-3 times. Some are less powerful and won't charge while using it. Or will only get 1 charge out of it. It is good for things like camping or taking long walks, as well. And can be good if there is an emergency. I personally say it's worth it. But it depends on whether you will need it, or will make things more convenient for you. Just make sure to get a good one. Or one that will suit your needs...

I used to give beggars a resource card for homeless shelters, food pantries, free health care, job training programs, etc. It tended to make them angry. One told me that he supported his $200/day drug habit by "flying cardboard" and that no job he was qualified for would pay that tax-free.

You can get powerbanks with USB C inputs on them, but I've had a powerbank for 5 years and USB - USB C works fine, charges whilst using it and still lasts for a few hours.
