Monica had wrote "I don't want these people in our store lol" after being told the teen was interested in the position by Katelyn's friend who worked there!! 17 y/o Katelyn Simmons then told her mom, Timika about it who then posted it online and demanded immediate action and wanted the manager fired immediately!! Katelyn had dropped off her application off on Sunday in the hope of a summer job after being recommended by a friend who worked there The girl-friend who worked there then messaged her manager stating "Girl brought in her application, i'm leaving it on the table for you tomorrow" of which the senior employee replied "OK thanks. How she look" and the friend said "Black girl, long dark hair. Shortish" and then the manager made the racist remark Katelyn is a junior at Klein High School who said "It really upset me that people living in this day and age and still think like that and think that it's OK to verbally be out there like that. I picked Subway because my friends work there and it's a really cool spot. I thought it would be fun and chill, and it's really discouraging for it to go down like that just because of the colour of my skin. I was like, appalled and distributed.
