Raw is absolutely unwatchable. And since April SmackDown has been neutered to a lame continuation of Raw with the same stale writing team and storylines.

Roman Reigns vs Shane Mcmahon in the most lame duck cookie cutter authority feud in recent memory. Way to squander his return good will. Props for killing McIntyre and Elias in the process.

Baron Corbin is on my TV in multiple segments every single week. He isnt good on the mic. He has no presence or charisma, he doesnt have a marketable look, he doesnt have good in ring work. I fail to see a single upside to him. He sucks.

Having Brock in the title picture again is the exact wrong move for him.

Undertaker vs Goldberg is a joke.

Kevin Owens vs Kofi is a joke.

Orton vs HHH is a joke.

I have no desire to tune in to any WWE programming and havent in weeks, only read results. I cant wait till this era is behind us.

WWE is pretty ridiculous. It's pro wrestling that wants to be anything but pro wrestling, which makes no sense at all. So you get all the negatives of pro wrestling but with none of the positives. Wrestling is oftentimes kinda bad, but when it's good, it's fucking great. But it's never going to be good when you run from it and have untrained actors stammer out shit written by failed sitcom and soap opera writers. You know things are bad when you're waiting for Vince to die so Aitch takes over. The biggest backstage politicking villain of the last 20 years is the great hope, please save us...

I don't get the reasoning between the Brock/Rollins/Corbin feud. Do this stupid writers realize that Corbin jumping Rollins only makes Brock look even more stronger and has a better chance at winning on Friday? That would set up Brock vs Corbin for the title. This is a major reason I hate these Saudi specials. They really fuck up the story lines.

When Punk was given free reign for a while it was watchable. The WWE was quick to course correct and ruin that, though. The shitty thing is that a good number of my favorite wrestlers ever are in the 'E and I can't see them any more because it's just too shitty to endure. When I saw them job Claudio Castagnoli out to Vince's manchild I was broken as a WWE fan forever.

Every once in a while, I will watch a segment to see if its improved, but these new people have no presence and everything seems so forced.

The veterans dont compete. When they do compete, its at a PPV event. When they appear on tv, its just to hype their PPV event. It really seems like the entire show has become nothing more than advertisement for the months main event.

No, thats not how things used to be. It was a guarantee to see performances on a weekly basis by Steve Austin, The Rock, Jericho, Kane, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Hulk Hogan, HHH and the entire nwo, The Big Show, Eddie Guerrero, RVD, Booker T, Chris Benoit, Ric Flair... These guys were all competing at the same time.

These modern people just dont hold a candle. The entire roster on both shows was HoF quality and we all took it for granted. Its unfair to even expect the new roster to live up to the standards set from the 90s to about 2003. The problem is that the entire roster just went to Hollywood and left the show without any presence.

One other thing is that it seems like title belts almost never change hands, except for in PPV events. People used to win/lose title belts all the time in the weekly programming. Big surprise, ratings were higher. Like I said, its just a big advertisement for the show that you dont get to see for free.

From what I've read, the on screen talent isn't given any real say on their characters.

So I'm going to go with shitty writers. Every time I watch everyone just seems super fucking generic and nothing catches my interest.

And then I hear what happens on the internet and it sounds super dumb and shitty.

People say it's cause it is "family friendly" now, but I really don't think that is it.
