I've never understood the controlling spouse mentality. If someone would have inclinations to cheat on you, they're going to do it regardless of if they're stupid enough to openly text about it on their phone or smart enough to keep it fully hidden. Basically. Ethically, you just have to be the best that you can be and just hope for the best from your partner. Unethically, you could spy, etc., but at that point is maintaining the relationship even worth it considering the issues? That's why when it comes to relationships that work, you and your partner need to be completely honest, upfront and fair to one another to try and prevent bad shit from going down in the first place, the relationship becoming toxic and straining it beyond repair. Of course this isn't 100% foolproof and shady people are going to do shady shit regardless of how good you are and well you treat them, but it does create a healthier, deeper relationship.

I get that people and their interests change, we only have one life to live, and that no one is perfect, but a lot of people are selfish, egotistical and mainly concerned with instant gratification and do harmful things to their partners and other people simply because they want or feel they need to for various reasons, and that's wrong. People, be real and fair and talk to, respect and love your partners, especially those who are good to you.

I was dating one girl once who, let's just say, needed lots of male attention. I told if her if I ever found out she cheated, I wouldn't really care. But I wouldn't just break up with her. I would fuck someone she knew.

This girl knew at least one of her friends and sister would fuck me, so it was a surprisingly effective way to change her behavior. We broke up a couple of months later, but she stopped trying to get attention from other guys in front of me after that.

There's only one I sort of regret. She 100% wanted to start a family and I just wasnt sure that's what I wanted. Still not tbh. But she did get married and has kids now and shes an awesome mom. If i was ever going to have kids i would want their mother to be like her.
