I had to look up what an uber pool even was, lol. We don't have it here, but I assumed it was a cross between Uber + carpool and it appears like I was right?

The whole "calling them a cab" thing is sort of considered like the classic player/d-bag move and a lot of people joke around about that. It's like you're finished using the girl for sex so you just throw her a towel (and maybe a $20 or something back in the day for traditional cab fare) and kick her out right away. No hanging out, no letting her spend the night, no giving her a ride home yourself, etc. Just strictly a booty call, might as well have been a hooker.

For the record though, I still think that's better than expecting them to find their own way home in the middle of the night.

Yes it's a carpool uber. I mean after were done hanging out, not literally right after sex (and assuming shes asks for an uber instead of spending the night)

That's totally fine then, imo. I don't know what else you're supposed to do. Actually driving her home yourself in the middle of the night is going too out of your way for someone that you're not actually dating/in a relationship with.
