The class says you have to use QuickBooks 2018 Business Accountant Premier which is like 350 bucks.

I guess this book offers a trial version for five months that covers the duration of the course though >_>

My university had various apps available with virtualization/cloud computing that only needed your student login to access so you could use them for classes curricula and not have to buy it yourself

I was kind of hoping that would be in the syllabus or course introduction but it literally says you have to download it from the Intuit website -_-. And it doesn't even give you a link to Intuit's Education Program site to get a reduced cost trial version of the software.

Check with your IT or bookstore to see if the university offers student discounts on that software. You might be able to get the whole office pro suite for like $30.

EDIT: Yea, and see if IT hosts free student versions of these programs somewhere.
