If you move to the Midwest, you can get a 2700sq ft home with 3 bed, 2 bath, and a garage complete with upscale countertops and cabinets, plush carpet, real hardwood flooring, chip resistant paint, stone showers, and 3 acres of land for just $189,000

Concerts and 4am sandwiches aren't worth the city life.

Doesn't help that most career jobs are all being hoarded by cities

And one of those cities requires french

Edit: Alberta and Winnipeg and Sask are all options tho, don't know much about the east side

If its that size, generally no. The houses are indeed monstrous and very, very nice. We've built plenty of houses a similar size on ground level--generally if the house has a basement the plans go to about 4500 sq ft. They just make the basement the size of the ground floor and have double the rooms. Those houses are worth about 320,000

Even in a southern city, $500,000 will get you a very nice house in a desirable location. 1-5 million will essentially get you a Hollywood-Hills-esque mansion (in many cases).

They're listed by main floor footprint.

A 1200sqft raised bungalow w/ basement is 2400sqft living space.

But its sold as a 1200sqft raised bungalow.

Take out a loan, as much as you can... Then take that money to the casino and flip it for double. Take half that double, which if my math is correct should be somewhere around the same amount you started with, then flip that for triple. Now take all those extra earnings, and keep flipping for a profit until you become a millionaire.

And for the original loan amount that you took out, use it for buying drinks at the casino, don't even bother paying it back.
