I come in, check to see everything is fine, then make up some bullshit that I have to run some updates on the servers and vanish into the server room for 8 hours. Nobody can walk in on me except my boss and I don't think she'll admit that she lost her key because she always knocks. I have a phone so people can page me if they need me, and usually they never do. It's just amazing. The best part is I get paid more than 90% of the people that work there and when I come out to smoke they're always so high strung and stressed out. I'd say in a given year, I only work about 15% of the time.
