Gonna get a gym membership soonish too so I can swim more often and work out

Im on a week break in between jobs. I hit the gym yesterday for the first time in a long while. I took my mom and my mother in law out for brunch too. Today Im meeting my friend for lunch. Probably going to try hitting the gym again tomorrow and get my stuff in order before my new job on Monday.

I, too, have a new job starting on Monday... but I was officially hired the first week in May (was laid off a few months back), so there's been a lot of sitting around and too much time be inside my head.

Going to get some brown dress shoes today and hopefully watch the latest episode of Chernobyl at a friend's house later tonight. Other than that, there's a little 'beer & wine' event this saturday that I'll make an appearance at... but I honestly just wanted to get started at this new job.

Just came off a busy MemDay weekend, so not really much for the week. Honestly a lot of people I work with are on vacation, so I really can't say how much I'd actually get done at work.

My mom's birthday is coming up. I think I'll call home tonight and see if my dad has any plans. :)
