I've resorted to renting movies on youtube since Hulu fucking sucks ultra mega ass and the Switch still doesn't have a goddamn browser yet

and lemme tell ya, some real bullshit -ery going on in here. Movies like the Avengers and Captain America only cost like 3 bucks, but Wizards of Waverly place cost 7 dollars??? the fuck is this shit?

Why is Captain Marvel 20 smackeroos?? I know it came out recently and currently it's only available to purchase, however the little info box on the side says it's ready to buy or to rent but the rent option is nowhere to be found. I don't understand this shit

When you're buying tv episodes, Why is it sometimes more expensive to buy all individual episodes rather than the whole season in bulk? No joke I looked up Vikings season 1, all the episodes cost $2 each which adds up to $22, but the season in bulk is $20

Like, is it too hard to ask for a little consistency ????????????????

Are...are you serious? There's often a discount for doing that. Like, with tons of stuff

This. Have you ever been to Costco or Sams Club, or whichever one you have in your area. They sell in bulk. And its cheaper to buy that way. Like lots of things are cheaper in bulk.

That's how bundles/bulk selling work, how are you nearly an Adult and don't know this? God help you when you encounter even slightly more complex business practices.

Fuck, even regular grocery stores do this.
Go and compare cost per weight with a large box of cereal with a small box. Same brand and type.

Weird, yeah. Happens, but this I kinda get calling BS on. Bit angry there, but eh? Pricing doesn't make sense other places too sometimes though, but again I get questioning that.

This however

is completely normal and happens LOADS of places. From digital watched shows to DVD or Blu Ray bundles of series. All the time. It's been normal as long as I can recall things being available in sets.

Also, are you talking about the entire series costing $7? Because if so, youre mad that an entire series of a show cost $4 more than a movie...

Fair if so, have seen weird pricing for movies though.

Usually the more of something you get, the cheaper it is. So that seems pretty consistent to me.

Try movies on Xbox. Netflix sucks up here so I rent the newer shows I like to see on there. You get rewards points for it as well.

I know but it's dumb because what if I don't feel like buying the whole season and just want to watch one episode? It's either one or the other and it's dumbn

I would consider it except that it won't do HD since big companies want DRM in place before they'll let something be HD. the only alternative I know of is itunes, which does HD but I hate having on it my computer. if there's some better alternative that has endless selection (ie: not netflix) I'd love to know about it.
