It makes so much sense. if we're being entirely honest, political threads on this website, and probably a lot of websites, but we'll stick to gamefaqs only, are a complete shit show. there is no honest discord and discussion. mods shut down "offensive" things constantly meanwhile blatant trolling goes unchecked. damn near any disagreement quickly devolves into who calls who a nazi first to the point where I don't think anyone actually knows what a nazi is or who hitler is besides memes, which given the general ignorance about history this wouldn't surprise me at all. the left constantly tries to take the moral high ground while ignoring facts and the right is hamstrung by "offensive" subjects lest they get modded. And that is on top of the usual crap that goes on inside of every single thread as topics can and often do get derailed in the first reply to them. and finally we have the irrational emotional responses to everything from all political ideologies present here. so yes, both sides do exist here, but there is a liberal bias overall if we want to actually be honest with ourselves, which I suspect most here don't.
