Guess there was a pricing error. Supposed to be cheaper than what it was listed for.
https://twitter.com/Attu_Games/status/1128903398101852160 Kinda admirable. I bought the game at launch and am enjoying it. It's a Metroidvania-style game. There's things I'm not crazy about, like that the combat is very basic and repetitive. Same enemy types repeating with slight variations. And the music is repetitive. That's pretty cool. The cynic in me wonders if the error wasn't made intentionally so they could generate good publicity by making this announcement while also making some extra revenue off of people who buy it at the increased price anyway, but still pretty cool.
