which is the framework he lays out for a nation of that time period to progress to communism

The whole point of saying "Nazis were socialist" is to try and shoehorn them in with the left, but it becomes very difficult to earnestly do this when the Nazis were notoriously aggressive at purging left-wing elements of their party, with left-wing political dissidents (like Communists and Socialists...) being among the first "purged" peoples in Nazi Germany.

You're being an elitist. Any rational person can tell why someone of average knowledge would think the National Socialist party is a party for socialists.
