Its possible the school has rules against posting pictures like that while in a school uniform (not a t-shirt, but something actually issued for the purposes of the learning environment). Probably not, just playing devils advocate.

During the suspension meeting, the assistant principal [Donna Gary-Donovan] said that in the posted picture, Dallas had a mean look on her face, was possessing illegal guns and stated that things you do in the dark come in to the light, according to the complaint. [Gary-Donovan is white.]

The college, which is part of the St. Johns County School District, suspended Dallas after another student reported a Facebook photo of her and her fiance holding legally purchased and lawfully possessed firearms at a gun range in Palatka, according to the lawsuit:

School shootings are happening more than they should. Someone posts a picture with guns while wearing school uniform. It's dumb, but so are 99% of these stories. The Principle is racist:

Two days after the photograph was posted, Dallas was confronted on the colleges St. Augustine campus by the assistant principal and informed that she was being suspended indefinitely for appearing in a picture holding a firearm.

The principle judged her to look mean because of the color of her skin, stereo typing her.

If this was a woman of any other ethnicity, it wouldn't have been interpreted that way.

The stupid principle made "Assumptions" on the legality of her FireArm when she had no way of knowing from a simple photo.

So she assumed she couldn't have possibly be legally enjoying her 2A rights because she's black and/or a woman.

What a presumptious arse and racist. I hope the school and this Gary-Donovan gets brought down.

Some guy on the internet , doesn't believe that I go to the gun range and shoot shotguns (mossberg 500) and a variation of pistols . Oh no...
