Apparently things you "permanently" delete are not deleted, an image or whatever is left behind which the software detects and rebuilds or whatever, in which you can recover the file or image or whatever.

Mmmhmm. Ever wonder why every HDD has X amount of space but when you look at it, it's always a little less? It's allllllll recoverable. I've ruined a few lives showing people stuff.

The only way to permanently delete anything is remove and physically shatter your HDD platters, then melt the remnants in a thermite fire.

If I were to lend a buddy my memory cards for a DSLR camera, and he uses recovery software, he'll see a whole bunch of nudes from my GF. lol.

Anyway, spent hours CCleaner blasting the free space on everything.
