Like say instead of a physical wall, a virtual one that employs hundreds if not thousands of drone surveillance operators to patrol the border, taking pictures of people's faces/recording their movements when crossing illegally.

Better than sorting out the logistical nightmare of a physical wall I'd imagine. More permanent employment too.

Wonder what kind of energy draw that'd pull though, and if solar panels could help supplement the stations enough.
