I'm aware there's an RTS being made, but...that's RTS. I feel an action game would feel more appropriate to the kind of action the movies have. Like, make it a hack and slash but his main source of fighting is guns, but you have various weapons to choose from to allow for context-sensitive kills and close-range fights.
Like a Platinum game but they'd need a huge budget for the amount of unique kills you could do depending on the area. Trying to imagine a John Wick style game where you build a base, manage resources, recruit an army, then send it out to wreck shit. Sounds like a cheap license for a mobile game.
