Concept sounds interesting, but also a bit of a turn off since it's "team cooperating" in a racing game meaning there can be literal dead-weights in your matches. I watched/read reviews and it seems to work better than it sounds, but I'm not entirely sure if I should get it or not.

It's definitely a step back from Transformed. A big step back, actually.

I'd say it's about on-par with Sonic All-Stars.

I will say that the team mechanics are actually really clever and would make for a very entertaining multiplayer, assuming you play with people you actually know and can strategize with.

Im much more likely to get CTR than this one.

Gotta say though, its a little frustrating getting CTR on Switch when they havent even announced a Spyro Reignited port for the console yet.

Crash has basically no relation to Spyro other than being published by Activision

Doesn't have the same developers (Vicarious Visions vs. Toys for Bob), the same predecessor developers (Naughty Dog vs. Insomniac), the same engine (Unity-derived vs. Unreal Engine 4) etc.

Unreal Engine 4 is a vastly more demanding engine than Unity, which is designed to scale all the way down to low-end smartphones.

Porting Spyro to Switch would be a much, much, much harder task than Crash.
