I've never sat down and fully played a DMC game before. The most I've played was a demo of the reboot and DMC1 up to the first boss. So I'm gonna try to go through all the games! Updates will be sparse since I'm only able to play a couple hours a day.

Anyway, just to get it out of the way, I'm playing the reboot. Playing the PS3 version, so that's without all the upgrades to make it a better game.

Current thoughts so far after playing the 2nd mission...

Dante already seems like a crude punk. Can see why people don't like this interpretation of him. Seemed to mellow out slightly after learning of his past, though.

This Order girl helping him out has a nice rack. *cough*

Limbo looks so much more interesting aesthetically than the real world. It's so fucking grey and bleak in the real world, so I hope most of my time in the game is spent in Limbo.

The Order seems like an obvious allegory to Anonymous.

Battle music's kinda loud and badass, not gonna lie.

Been focusing on using my upgrade points to get new moves and abilities, upgrading them later. I'm a fan of having a lot of moves at my disposal. Speaking of that, I'm always afraid the game's gonna crash in the upgrade menu because it stutters and my PS3 makes a noise every time I go to a new move, lol.

Speaking of Limbo, I don't quite get how it works in relation to the real world. Some things are affected in the real world (the pier destruction) but not everything? (The family mansion staying intact) I don't get it.

I *think* that's all I wanted to say so far. Try to use spoiler tags as for the most part I don't know what goes on in these games in terms of plot, bosses, and whatnot. Ask me anything. Oh and I'm playing Devil Hunter difficulty.
