If it IS timezone riddle, you can't say just "two pistols shoot at a target", because it doesn't provide enough information to give a concrete answer. You would want to phrase it as "At exactly 10:00am" instead, or something like that, to provide the two key points needed to solve the riddle--That the location is different, but the time on the clock was the same. Otherwise, we don't know when either pistol was fired but have to infer that either it was at a different time, but considering timezones isn't even necessary to reach that conclusion, or they were fired at the exact same absolute time, and thus the answer might have to do with, for instance, air resistance, the rotation of the Earth in relation to the direction the bullet was fired, the effect of gravity, the effect of temperature, ect.
