No. Make the characters all have specific uses also effecting the characters personality and motivation. IE: Healer is more compassionate and the strength character is more hard headed

Go back to the system FF2 had so I can read how pissed off people are because they abused it at the beginning of the game becoming comically overpowered.

I just feel like the characters lack personality most the time when they don't have designated places.
