If 2016 goes a bit differently there's no travel ban, no idiotic tax policy, no justice Kavanaugh or Gorsuch, no border wall foolishness, no gutting of the state department, or child separation at the border, or the clown car of corrupt cabinet officials, etc. No Dem is doing any of that shit.

Unless you live in a flip state or battleground state or whatever you call it, voting does not matter for the president election. All blue states and red States are the same every election. And if you happen to go against your state it doesn't matter . The electoral college makes sure your dissenting vote is just erased. If you want to make sure things happen, talk directly to people in battleground states but most of us can't do anything

I vote in every single local and national election that i'm able to and have done so for 20 years, and i'm telling you a single vote doesn't make a difference.

You do have to have a poor understanding of what "alive" actually means to consider abortion murder. What they believe means nothing. The brain functions of a fetus don't do enough to make it "alive" until 28 weeks. You cannot "kill" something that isn't "alive".

So, how can you kill something that cannot die?

You cant.

Without a continuously functioning, synchronised brain there is no full human organism. Thus if you don't have a fully synchronised brain you aren't "alive" and thus cannot be "killed"

Local and state elections matter too.

Hundreds of thousands of people in red/blue states stay home because their blue/red vote will be meaningless, which is probably true in the case of the president, but the local and state level shit could be totally different.

Here's what's going to happen.

1. The law gets a stay immediately, probably tomorrow.
2. Nothing changes for about a year or two, as it gets tossed around in district court.
3. SCOTUS leaves Roe largely intact, but weakens it just a bit.
4. SCOTUS likely shoots down the concept of states having extraterritorial jurisdiction, particularly when adults are involved.
5. Both sides claim victory somehow
6. The internet claims it's the end of the world somehow.
