Dude arguably has the most boring arc in the show. The payoff is that he now has these incredible supernatural abilities that they barely even utilize. The dude literally doesnt do anything except use his powers to say little one liners that make the other characters uncomfortable.

What was the fucking point of this character? Was his entire arc literally just so he could say Jon is a Targaryen?

Samwell discovered this on his own and he's the one who told Jon. Bran literally did nothing except act as a decoy so Arya could assassinate the NK

And then there was the Long Night episode. So you think that Bran is going to have some integral role in defeating the Night King, seeing as hes been branded by him and his entire arc has been about the NK and his connection to him. But no. What does he do? Wargs into some birds and flies around for a bit. Thats it.

Bran is the second most important character in the show, next to the Night King.

The Night King was needed to get Bran to become the Three Eyed Raven. Bran needed to become the Three Eyed Raven so he could tell Jon he is a Targaryen. They need Jon to know he is a Targaryen so he could tell Dany. Dany needed to know so that she would get paranoid and angry. She needed to be paranoid and angry so she could completely go against her character and kill every single innocent person she saw in Kings Landing.

you haven't been paying much attention to her character if you think her actions were out of character. rushed? sure, but not out of character.

i dont feel like pasting it all again, but here's a long post that details foreshadowing all of it https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/400-current-events/77711723?jumpto=26#26

The White Walkers and the Night King were the most pointless. At least Bran was integral to the plot for the first 2 seasons.

They could have completely left the White Walkers out of the show and nothing would have changed. After episode 3 I thought the Night King's purpose was to nerf Dany's army so Cersei would have a little bit of a chance and there would be some tension. Totally lame conclusion to the WW arc, but at least it had a purpose. But nope, it was still just a total one sided stomping lol. Actually genocide is the more accurate term.

Its a fucking meme at this point, because people literally brought up a list of reasons why it was in her character and why she went batshit crazy. But no, 'i can't hear you, you're dumb and it's a bad writing' sure feels better

Rushed and out of character are literally the same point.

Like everything else the past couple of seasons, the writers have reasonable plot points/character development, but have no one guiding them how to get there. So everything has gotten rushed and illogical to place certain characters at certain locations at certain times.

I have it guys, the best ending. At the last few minutes of the last episode, Bran goes back in time to when he was pushed out of the window and Wargs himself and instead of being pushed he just kills himself by jumping head first, changing the entire plot. Done.

I'm not going to read all that, but if it's the same stupid shit about her being ruthless it still flies in the face of her being a savior of the downtrodden and not a murderer of them.

Your guys justification is literally "she didn't cry when her abusive brother was killed and she crucified slavers. Thus, it's completely in her character to commit genocide on innocent people."

How do you not see that is dumb, bad writing? Destroyed the Red Keep even though it has innocents in it? Sure, I could get behind that.

She literally destroyed and massacred people outside the keep before even attacking the keep though.

Breaker of chains, indeed.

Yes Daenerys has had violent impulses, but she has a big heart which is what keeps her in check. Remember when Drogon burned a single peasant child and Dany was so mortified by it that she locked up the remaining two dragons, her children, out of guilt? She has never enjoyed hurting people. Shes a queen of the people. Thats her character. Whenever she has forced her hand in the past it was justified.

Im ok with her losing her shit, but it happened way too fast.

This is an actual criticism I agree with. That was a real wasted potential and underwhelming

I read it

That last 15 or so are all from this last season.

The rest is basically "She was ruthless to her enemies in Essos." and/or "Someone cautioned her to not be rash and she seemed annoyed"

Thanks for wasting my time with fanboy reaching.
