... Jaime and Cersei
Cersei is about to leave the Red Keep with Qyburn and Gregor. As she nears the door to exit the room, Jamie opens it and comes through. Instead of embracing him, she flares up with anger and admonishes him for abandoning her. He tells her about the boat waiting for them and tries to defend himself, but Cersei has Gregor behead him. Cersei, Qyburn, and the Mountain head out of the keep, where Sandor meets them just as he did in the episode. Gregor kills Qyburn and faces off against his brother while Cersei escapes to underneath the keep where Jaime had told her they were going to go. Instead of the exit being blocked, it is open and Cersei escapes alone. Reaching the escape boat, Cersei is met by Tyrion, who asks her where Jamie is. In her reckless anger she spitefully tells Tyrion what happened. Tyrion becomes enraged and he and Cersei fight. It doesn't last long and Tyrion pulls out a dagger and kills Cersei. In the aftermath we see Tyrion upset, mourning his sister, her baby, and his brother, none of which he really wanted to die. --- glitteringfairy: Just build the damn wall ThyCorndog: and how exactly will that stop the mexican space program from orbital dropping illegal immigrants? ... Cersei literally couldn't bring herself to kill Tyrion or Jaime when she had the chance recently. It's easy for her to say "kill them" when she's far away, but at the end of the day she has a twisted love for her family. There's literally no way she'd ever ask for Jaime to be killed in front of her. Especially not after he came back to her. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Unless she was in a desparate and frustrating situation like the one she was in. Her breaking down at the end instead of getting more angry was out of character IMO.
