This number isn't surprising, go find anyone in any corporation with 250+ people working under them like a store manager has and they'll be making at least six figures.

Walmart has long history of treating its employees well. They get a bad rap because people are entitled and think they should be able to buy a house and raise kids off of a job that's really intended to be short term for high school and college students or as supplemental part time work.

I mean, if they usually treat their employees well then that's fine.

But I'm not making it up that I transferred to deli and found out later that the pay rate there is supposed to be $12 an hour and I've been getting $10.50, which is the base rate for cashiers over here. And they've been doing it for new people too.

I work at Costco, been there for years, have been asked several times if im interested in management. I say no without hesitation every time.

Ive been there long enough that ive seen managers mentally break down, managers that look like they're craving a stiff drink everyday, managers go on stress leave, managers that have actually cried due to the stress, not to mention they're usually there 10, 11, sometimes even 12 hours a day. And like the Walmart ones mentioned before, they get pissed all over constantly for everything. Fuck that. I dont care if they make double what i make. Not worth the stress.
