I've never done acid. Psychedelics don't agree with me.

Why is you having been exposed to some dumb game because you live in the most populous city in the US and me having not for having lived there even an issue of holding weight at all?

Actually, I would prefer that you continue the personal attacks. They are accomplishing more than my efforts to get you to explain why you think I'm paranoid. "You didn't believe a thing I said" is not paranoia, but I'm getting bored with your answers, so just keep up the trolling and insults. You enjoy them and they are easy enough for you that they are second nature, so you might as well stick to them.

The paranoia is not because you don't believe me. I don't care you don't believe me. The paranoia is from you accusing people of lying, which you just tried to say you never did, but you did. The point isn't much beyond that. If you think adults don't still play this game, you're sheltered.

As I said. There's no point in debating anything with you because you're either clearly trolling or on some Zikten shit at this point. As other users pointed out, you are being very disingenuous here. The point is very clear. People around the country still play this game in their adult years. To deny that means you're sheltered. Very simple.

You described the game and my first thought was that it sounded dumb. Your insistence on its popularity seemed incredibly farfetched and you came across as dishonest. Tattoo guy pushed that bizarre defense of the game even further. I don't have enough of a stake in whether or not the thing is as widespread as you claim beyond arguing about it here. I could go see a ton of people doing it now that I know it exists and it wouldn't affect me in any way. I would just notice it. So again, what outcome could I be paranoid of? What affect would confirmation of your data points on the game's popularity have outside of just this exchange?

I'm not denying it. I didn't believe it upon the first description of the game that I heard. It still seems outlandish but if people do that shit, they do that shit. At what point were you attempting to debate? I've just been seeing trolling and insults from you.

Tagging Machete as another one who's lost his shit post Trump.

Guy lives a bit near Albany NY IIRC. People around those areas in NY and MA are 100% sheltered from the rest of the country and even NYC and Boston tbh.

Source: I lived by there for a good while.

Regardless, after watching the full video, I don't think this guy meant anything beyond it being the circle game. It's sad when sheltered people on the internet get offended on behalf of others.

The topic at hand, in case you forgot, is a hand gesture in a video that looks like an UPSIDE DOWN OK sign, some idiots think any instance of which is a symbol of white supremacy thanks to the efforts of a few chan trolls and sensationalist media outlets. The fact that the gesture was upside down however means it holds a third meaning related to a silly game friends play that has regained popularity through memes. All of this has been explained thoroughly, all the arguing with you going on has been over whether this game is a thing...if it is naturally one must concede the high probability that the gesture in video holds the third 'game' meaning rather than 'white power' or 'okay'. What say you?

Plausibility and probability are two different issues, the latter is where the grey area is with how your posts read. After rereading this thread, and others calling him a troll, it all makes sense. Nothing he's said makes sense at this point. Nothing can be said to make him realize this either.

You know, shortly after this ok hand sign = white supremacism became a thing, I was visiting a family member in the hospital. While at the cafeteria, I was corralled by a woman (who happened to be black) into a free throat examination (where doctors gave you a brief check to see if you had any obvious signs of oral cancer).

After the examination I absentmindedly gave the woman an ok sign with my hands, and then said hey thanks a lot the doc said everything looks ok!

Thank god some of the posters ITT werent there; they might have attacked me on sight.

So why have so many fallen for the 'ok sign/circle game is a white supremacist symbol' troll when almost nobody bought the 'milk is a white supremacist symbol'? Anyone remember that one? I mean, they were both made up by the same people, from the same website and are equally ludicrous. What exactly is the difference?

Because the chans didn't start a hoax with OK.

They merely added gas to what the white nationalists were already using and the left was already accusing them of.

The milk thing was mostly a fail because it was 100% made up, while the OK symbol was already being used as one of their symbols.

https://medium.com/s/story/does-the-ok-sign-actually-signify-white-power-or-what-6cf3309df985

A lot of people mistakenly think that the alt-right use of the gesture originated with this 4chan hoax. But by the time this post was made in February 2017, the OK sign was well established as a far-right meme. The 4chan post is therefore evidence not of the creation of a hoax ex nihilo, but an instance of obfuscation, generating confusion over the origins of a preexisting phenomenon. Given the timing, its not unlikely that tricking people into mistakenly tracing the origins of the meme to the post was part of its intended purposewe are talking about 4chan, after all.

And all you need to do is look at the archives of the chan posts on "the hoax". Filled to the brim with nazi stuff and call for killing anyone non-white or left wing.
