It's not really my place to offer opinions on this.

I used to judge parents who did this, but I've decided not to be that kind of person anymore because I'm not a parent and I know I can't fully appreciate the chaos a child can get up to given the opportunity. Until we have reason to distrust the parent we can all trust that they know how best to take care of their own children and keep our unsolicited opinions in their place.

have you not seen kid leashes before? the other day when i was at a mall i saw a mom putting a kid in one at the entrance. i agree, it does look weird. kids are annoying, however, and if that stops them from getting in others hair, cool.

Leashes do look weird, but if you suck so much as a parent that words and discipline don't work, do what does work.
