Post-timeskip Eren is the first time I've actually liked the character. I've always enjoyed when the main character in a series starts taking up villainous traits, and Eren's been feeling like Magneto for quite a while.

the theory for why eren is such an asshole is either zeke messing with his or the likely reason that all the titan users he's eaten is messing with his head. Because in the series if you eat a titan shifter, you gain their memories and some of their personality traits. An example being that armin keeps staring at and going to annie's crystallized cocoon. Symbolizing him taking on Bertolts obsession with Annie
