My horizons are plenty expanded. But it's an old curmudgeon's prerogative to sample all sorts of things across the broad spectrum of life, and then start shitting all over all the stuff they didn't like.

If I ever want to play a four-person co-op shooter I'm way more likely to play Borderlands 2 than I am Left 4 Dead.

Oh, I thought this was about that movie, Left 4 Head.

Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 are actually better than I thought they would be. I love the character interactions and most of the weapons have a really satisfying feel to them.

For some reason I always had more fun playing 2-player with the other 2 characters as AI than playing with a full squad, though.

Borderlands is okay, but kind of bland. Borderlands 2 is much better.

But at least part of that is more the writing and characterization than straight up combat mechanics, because mere gameplay hasn't been my #1 selling point for any game since the late 1980s.
