You mean aside from game/movie libraries? Hacking experience, contacts in said circles, reverse engineering/security/pen testing hands on experience, contacts in the counter piracy scene (the people who "fight" the "pirates" are generally pirates),programming knowledge, network knowledge, infrastructure knowledge, etc etc. It's actually quite the interesting scene.

The reality is that the anti piracy scene is very much in bed with the piracy scene. They follow strict rules within their own worlds and even cooperate with companies and the feds to make everything work. It's quite interesting.
