Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man by a long shot, but the Raimi movies are still some of the best superhero movies ever.

Homecoming is only good because of the precedent that 1 set. 1 perfected the origin story. Uncle Ben's influence/death and
Peter's character building was done so great. Marvels spiderman knows it can't replicate that along with the fact that we don't need another origin story of Peter Parker saves it. If the Raimi films didn't exist, it would be criticized for ignoring some of the biggest aspects of the franchise and be severely lacking. I enjoyed Marvel's but if I had to pick which one to get rid of it'd be theirs. We could do without it as it doesn't have as big of impact on the series as the Raimi ones do. ... Copied to Clipboard!
