Damn, pretty impressive! Will be a challenge to replicate that elsewhere though, there's still a mainstream stigma in the west of Nintendo being for kids whilst the other systems are for "real" gamers.

I'm not surprised really. There's a lot of popular games on it and people are expecting a few more heavy hitters in 2019.

Not surprising since Japan is THE country for handhelds.
Heck, PS3 games have been available to play on phones there for almost a decade. Its via streaming of course but their infrastructure is so much better than other countries sans South Korea that there's a lot less issues with it. --- - I dislike Sony and Nintendo equally but own both of their consoles plus a PC. - I'm a traditional leftist and I literally work for the government. ...
