Current Events > Even just the "headliner" section of my backlog is getting daunting

-God of War
-The Witcher III (or the entire trilogy, which I do own...)\
-Breath of the Wild (played a good chunk of it at launch, got married and set the games down for a bit, was super overwhelmed when I came back so I'll start over at some point)
-Nioh
-Divinity: Original Sin 2
-Assassin's Creed: Origins
-Assassin's Creed: Odyssey
-Let's Go Pikachu (lol?)
-Okami HD (okay not a heavyhitter but I did just buy it because it was on sale)

Then there are ones that I've had around long enough that I'm frankly getting skeptical if I'll ever really give them a shot:
-Skyrim
-Shadow of War

And that's just, like, the really big name stuff. I don't even wanna take a close look at my Steam Library.

I would fast track God of War
it's a great game and is pretty short compared to the rest of your list

I would not recommend playing Witcher III and BOTW back-to-back unless you're a huge open-world junkie, I think most people would start feeling dragged out doing two large games so close together

Nioh and Okami could be used to break up some of the same-ness though, they're pretty good on their own as well

tbh I would skip the AC games and Skyrim. Skyrim is way too old that if you haven't played it when it first came out, you'll be annoyed by the clunkiness and dependence on mods (although if you like it, you like). the AC games are fun on their own, but they're not exactly on the level of the rest

D:OS2 is a lot of fun, def recommend doing that at some point

Pikachu should be fun for an easy nostalgic run, and Shadow of War is great if you wanna kill some orcs (story is shit though)

Good advice, thanks. I've luckily resisted the urge to impulse-buy Spiderman and Red Dead to add that shit to the pile >___>

The AC games I expect will get played, they look pretty cool, but yeah... Skyrim might just be not meant to be.
