Is there a single suit power that even compares to Web Blossom? The most I've done is equip the "Gain a bar of Focus" and the "Web Throw without webbing enemies" ones to help satisfy specific challenges.

The other ones...well, I could stun a bunch of guys or I could OHKO almost all of them instantly.

Web Blossom is the last suit power you'll ever need.

Yeah, after two hours of doing this drone challenge, I'm now confidently able to say that it and presumably all of its kind are AIDS. All it does is highlight the issues with the game's web swinging.

I didn't realize the drone sped up to keep pace with you, so I was utterly baffled at first. I've gotten quite close to gold a few times now. Honestly, if it weren't for that one checkpoint that's right at the corner of a building, I think I'd have had it. I've fucked up so many times from that one corner.

What I want to know is will I have enough challenge tokens for all the suits and anything else that needs challenge token? Once suit costed 6 challenge tokens. Thats a lot.

Silver on everything should be enough for the suits, but to get all the upgrades you would need most of them at gold if not all.

Only suits are required to get to Plat though, so if that is all you care about prioritize suits and then you can upgrade with whatever you happen to have left over.

You definitely don't need gold on all of them to unlock all the upgrades. There were like 2 or 3 challenges that I couldn't get gold on and I still unlocked everything in the game

Beat Taskmaster. I liked that side quest. Did not care for the drone challenges at all.

After another forty minutes of tries, I finally got that fucking gold drone challenge done in Harlem. Turns out I wasn't utilizing the web zip nearly enough.

I love this Vintage Suit. 77% done with the campaign and sitting at 65% trophy completion. I may have the game 100% done by tomorrow.

I still think Spider-Man 2's and Ultimate Spider-Man's challenges were harder.

The Sable guys are pretty tough. Not gonna lie.

Also, I like how again, the vibe of the city changes during the third act.

Im kind of half and half on the villain designs so far. Taskmaster was good. Shocker was fine. Tombstone cant really be messed up. Same goes for Kingpin. Not feeling Electro. I know people think his OG costume is silly but I like it. Vulture is fine and so is Scorpion. I think Rhino could be a little better. Mr. Negative is pretty simple to get wrong. Dr. Octopus is great but I miss his stupid haircut.

Taking on the classic villains is the highlight of the game so far for me. Loving this.

tbh the villain fights were too easy to me, on my NG+ on ultimate playthrough i don't think i even lost to any of them it was all the same predictable web em up nonsense

Web blossom is useless against sable guys, so I either use spider-bro or quad damage against them.

Though I do wish equaliser lasted longer, because it's a lot of fun.

Theyre easy but I like the spectacle and presentation of the fights.

Its those laser weapons that trip me up. Getting hit by one does a surprising amount of damage.

Peter Parker in Spider-man 4 is one of the best adaptations of the character. Hell I'd say he's one of the best game characters around.

He's so damn likeable. In a medium filled with gritty characters he's a breath of fresh air.

This is a great game. Just about every aspect hit the right beats.

The story is surprisingly well written. I cant really think of any plot holes. Well, Spider-Man should have probably been unmasked when he was taken to the hospital but whatev. The twists didnt catch me off guard personally. The game kind of hints at whats going to happen. Anyone could probably guess whats going to happen next. Still, any story that can get a positive reaction out of me is a good one.

The characters were great especially Peter. The writers got him down to a tee straight from the comics. Really hope hes not killed off for Miles in the sequels but that would be a shame. Miles was fine considering how much I dont care for him in the comics. I dont think there were any characters that were done poorly.

Gameplay was good. The swinging was fun in this game and the combat was fluid with options especially near the end of the game. With that being said, I still think the swinging could be improved slightly. I didnt have any issues until some of those Taskmaster drone challenges. Also, there needs to be more interesting side quests in the future with more villains or heroes. Daredevil, The Avengers, Doctor Strange, and a bunch of other heroes exist so use them. Have maybe a small team up with Daredevil to take down Stilt-Man. Do something. Also, get rid of the stealth sections involving MJ and Miles.

Setting was fine. Its New York. The devs cant really do much to make it interesting besides add Marvel landmarks. They should try and make other Burroughs explorable in the sequels.

Im iffy on the designs. I dont like Spiders new suit or half the suits in the game. I used Noir, Raimi, and Vintage the most. MJ was not good. In motion, her face was kind of cute but thats about it. Average body for who is considered to be beautiful. Most of the villain designs worked. Wasnt feeling Electro or Rhino that much.

I dont think the music stood out enough to be nominated for best music. It may be nostalgia talking but 90s cartoon and Raimis trilogy had better tunes for Spidey.

Im not sure how this game holds up on replay ability. After getting the platinum, I dont think Ill revisit this game anytime soon. Maybe when the sequel is about to release, Ill replay this one.

I would say this game is a very high 8/10 in my opinion. Id give it a 9 if Mysterio and The Spot were in this game tbh
