But secret of mana remake is stable now so not sure if AoM is fixed.

Adventures of Mana is the remake of Final Fantasy Adventure, I believe. It was completely stable on the Vita, and I'm sure they've had plenty of time to fix any stability issues with the game. If you want a game to spend 12-20 hours on, then go for it.

People said no to the SoM remake because they're stuck in the past, and turn their noses up at a bastardisation of its charming aesthetic. I agree with them, but it doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the game. Anyways, I wrote a review of Adventures of Mana, if you're on the fence.

TL;DR

It's alright.

Paid 20 somethin for SoM and loved it (also have snes classic to play original whenever as well)

So for $7 it would have to suck hard. And depending how it sucked it could still be so-bad-its-funny and still worth $7.

For $7, it's good. Get it. It's an updated GameBoy game with PS1-era graphics.
