I use Samsung Pay with my watch all the time.

You can pay literally anywhere since it has both NFC and MST, but there's also this sort of rewards program where you earn points each time you use it.

You don't need to say or do anything special except maybe let the cashier know you're paying with credit/debit. On my watch, I then turn SPay on, punch in my PIN, and then hold the watch near the terminal.

If I've already been using SPay before that day, then I don't need to punch in the PIN again. The PIN is only needed if I took the watch off at some point and then put it back on.

I think CVS made a big stink a while ago because they just recently added Apple Pay and Google Pay. Of course, if you use Samsung Pay, then you've been doing mobile payments there for years.
