I don't think you can call yourself a NEET a few days after graduating. I'm way NEETer than you

Don't you have a college degree? Aren't you working at a job as a bus driver? Also, when I'm nervous, in pain, or riddled with anxiety, I sometimes clasp my hands together to make me feel better; and it oddly brings comfort to my disarrayed mental state. I'm not actually thinking of that Christian god that is all the rage with those Christians, so I don't think I'm actually praying. Yet, I'm afraid that people will misinterpret my gesture as so. Should I not do this in public anymore? Is it praying if I'm not trying to talk to some deity while clasping my hands together?

It can take 3-6 months sometimes dude. Be lucky we aren't in the midst of a recession.

Are you referring to the fact that I post these lengthy questions in people's AMA's, or the fact that I clasp my hands as if I'm in prayer even though I'm not?

I haven't lived alone in years.

Not having a job lined up before graduation could be a blessing in disguise. For me it also seemed like everybody I knew had jobs lined up before graduation too, so when I got an offer just weeks before graduating, I took it without much thought and it turned out to be a career-killer. That and I just needed money, but still, I put too much pressure on myself because of the misconception that I need to have something lined up right away.
