I dont know how much money that is, but PDP Afterglow isnt too expensive and it looks quite nice.

It should be noted that a wireless 360 controller with a play and charge kit isn't the same as a wired 360 controller. For the wireless one you'll need to buy a receiver even with the cable (though you can DIY one from an old 360 if you have soldering skills).

Honestly 360 controller vs One controller is all about preference. I actually like the ergonomics of the 360 controller better and I prefer the non-clicky bumpers, but the One controller has a better d-pad and it has rumble triggers (and just a really advanced/detailed rumble system in general).

But if money is no object, I would highly recommend the X1 Elite controller. Especially for PC because of the paddles. Although I don't know if PC games register the paddles as unique inputs.

The least smelly turd is still a smelly turd. No one in their right mind would use a third party controller if first party options are available.

This is a bad opinion.

Some third party controllers are of higher quality than first party. Remember, the quality of first party controllers factors in the cost of bundling them with consoles. Third parties don't have to worry about that.

Also you can get different configurations (like if you wanted offset sticks for a PlayStation controller) and even extra buttons with third party.

A smelly turd with offset sticks and extra buttons is still a smelly turd.
