It was all superfriends. Robot chicken and family guy are making fun of him because his reputation was already ruined by then.

Superfriends was a young kids show and even Batman and Superman are goofy in it. They just had a benefit of having exposure besides that cartoon. If all you ever watched of Star Wars was the Family Guy episodes, you'd probably think it was a terrible series.

sigh....a little funny but still....this is almost worse maybe than making fun of Aquaman. anyone who reads Marvel Comics knows that the Sub Mariner is a massive badass. he's the oldest still active character in Marvel and in the 40's he used to single hadnedly beat the shit out of the German army, even more than Captain America IMO

You're missing the point of FG. If you watch it expecting accuracy than you're doing it wrong. FG banks on the lack of information of it's audience. A lot of comedy does. You ever watch a comedy with someone who wants to call out all the faults and contest everything said? Not so fun

A lot of terrible comedy relies on ignorance in it's audience, especially when information is readily available.
