I hardly ever vote in them anyways. I direct link to PotD and hardly ever go to the front page. I think I voted in like 5 of the character polls?

Its all meaningless info gathering anyway. Doesnt go anywhere except maybe marketing to make more money for the site.

also that "time off for school or work" should really just be school. don't most jobs only give you christmas day and sometimes eve, off? only kids get to vacation for 2 weeks. adults get just 1 or 2 days off, no more than a normal weekend. and most people go back to work on the 26th

Good point, i don't know many people who have all christmas off. Apart from students like you said. Maybe teachers?

Depends where you work. Educators are on the same schedule and usually have breaks for the week. Some federal agencies give you the week. Some employers dont even give you the holiday.
