How did he warn scrouge of his fate? Why did he warn scrooge? How did he get the spirits of Christmas to help? Marley and Scrooge must have been very close for him to go through all that.

Marley said in the book that he is cursed to walk the Earth since he did nothing to help his fellow man when he was alive. Legend said that ghost could interact with the living on Christmas Eve so that is why he was able to do so. He was hoping to help Scrooge avoid his fate since he continued on the same path Jacob did but for an extra 7 years (how long Marley had been dead). He didn't get the spirits to help Scrooge, he was their to warn him of being visited and the reason why he was being visited.

Did the ghosts visit Marley? Do they visit all greedy people? If not why did they choose scrooge? If they did, why did they wait 7 years after Marley died. If they visited him they must have done so at least 8 years prior.

Why did Marley wait 7 years to visit?

He had been wondering about on foot in ghost form and it took that long to get to Scrooge. It is possible they visited other greedy people but the book never said. My guess on why the choose Scrooge is because he was able to do a lot of good for the city after his transformation.
