This comes after a Priest at the funeral for 18 y/o Maison Hullibarger made desparaging remarks that he would NOT go to HEAVEN while speaking AT the funeral!! Jeffrey showed up in detroit despite specifically being told not to as they accused him of "bullying" Maison and the other kids of the team. It's still unclear why Maison took his own life but Jeff showed up anyway as he is also a history teacher at the school where he vented his anger on facebook and wrote "I was just asked to leave a funeral by a family member of a deceased football player. If you need someone to blame, i'm your man, i'm your fall guy. This is how society is when things go not as planned. We blame others for our own shortcomings. This tragedy is not about me or you. it's about looking in the mirror as a human being and being real and honest with yourself." The parents said that he had "bullied" the children on his team for years and said "We've had 4 boys who played for him. He's been bullying kids for many years"... Linda Hullibarger told a friend to make it clear he was not welcome and he showed up anyway. She said "We knew Maison would not want him at his funeral. He did not treat Maison kindly. So it was our wish he would not be there" Another of her sons approached him and asked him to leave and he was immediately fired from the coaching program after his shocking post was sent out. He told the media "A lot of things go into it, of course. I need to work on me. It's much better for the school system for someone else to lead..i didn't come to this decision lightly" The coach felt he had a right to be there because he had been Maison's coach for many years and he had a "bond" with him but others felt otherwise.
