No it's not LMAO. Definitely deserve all it's praise and people can acknowledge it's flaws unlike RE4 where people will purposely turn a blind eye to its flaws.

It didn't live up to the hype when I first played it in the PS2 era, but since then I've realized it was really ahead of its time, comparable to PS1 games, which are some of the best there are, Sony.

It is definitely overrated. It is a great game, but there are some definite flaws. My biggest complaint are the characters, just feels like once their arc is done, they are just a ghost whose only purpose is to be a body in battle. A lot of the dungeon are kind of boring too.
Even though Chrono Cross has a lot of the same issues (Chrono Cross has a better excuse for the character issue though, considering the game has such a massive amount) , I think I like it better than trigger. ... Copied to Clipboard!

RE4 is crazy hard next to CT. CT is babies first rpg. Its time travel story with silent protag are aimed at babies too.
