Was around 50. Young, really. He was a friend for sure but we weren't really close enough to really know each other's ages. Dunno the cause yet but he was a pretty big dude, 4XL T-shirt, so I'm guessing heart attack.

He was found unresponsive out where he goes to hunt deer. So I guess at least he died in a peaceful environment doing what he loved.

He was a brother in Christ, so I'll see him when I get to heaven. I know we have a lot of athiests here but I'd urge you to consider your own mortality and know that you can fsc it without fear if you put your faith in Jesus. I'd like to see all of you in heaven too.

They were more acquaintances than friends but a few from school have died over the years. Accidents and one "died after short illness" in the obit. Which always makes me curious. Would have been like 28-29 at the time and had 7 kids I think. Was a healthy dude in high school. My class size was a bit over 200 so we're not a very big community.
One friend in first grade school died from a fever. Of course I didn't even know this until I was an adult and stumbled across his grave and of course questioned my mother. They told me he moved away.
One suicide in high school. Guy who sat next to me in on class junior year.

No one I would call a real friend yet. Some I haven't seen or talked to for nearly 20 years. Some longer than that. Most moved away and who knows what became of them.
