I'm looking to buy one to give away as a prize but it wouldn't be needed until August. Took a look at the release page but nothing jumped out (unless I'm seriously blind).

Smash Ultimate bundle might be the apex though >_>

Yeah my only concern in buying it this far in advance is that 8 months is a long time to have something sitting around without knowing if it works.

I suppose I can just buy it and then return it if anything better comes along.

It's not exactly rare. Nintendo doesn't really bundle systems and games like MS and Sony.

Just wait for news.
