I don't know how you can follow Pat and Paige and assume anything is normal about that relationship.

I mean, we're all feeling things right now, so I'll give your little outburst a pass in general, but I do find it odd that a sweet and loving couple irks you while a relationship with a major base on mutually doled out abuse (which works for them and that's fine) is what you picture as "normal".

Yeah, I just saw that part of the video now. That's still awesome, but I can't help but feel a little pessimistic in thinking that it might not last long >_> I've listened to every episode of Super Best Friendcast every week for the past 5ish years and it sucks that it suddenly ended. I really do hope the new podcast is just as good and lasts a long time.

Yeah this was some morning time feels. I listened to their podcast for years and watched bunches of their LPs over that same time, starting with I Have No Mouth.

I seriously wont be tuning into much solo material from either of these three,besides maybe Pat&Paige streams and Kirby Lore. So, I hope whatever Woolie/Pat do with their new podcast has legs.

I've been digging into the sub reddit and people have been saying exactly that. I never noticed, but looking back in hindsight I can see it, but on the podcast sometimes Pat would say something, Matt would be silent, and then Woolie will come in and save the awkward moment. I've also saw that apparently when Matt would be a guest on other podcasts, he would complain about long podcasts because he preferred shorter ones.

It seems like Matt became disinterested in the channel and wanted to leave, so Pat and Woolie have to rebrand since Matt's gone. So it's less that SBF is gone, and more that Matt's leaving SBF.

It can be hard to be around someone that much, and I kind of noticed Matt was weirdly aloof about everything for the past like.... year. I dont blame him that much, but it does suck because I liked him in LPs with the others but I think his new channel is really really meh

Some people are saying Matt has a drinking problem which has led him to missing many podcasts, recording at weird times, and just being super out of it on lps.

Seems to be baseless outside of a handful of twitter posts and comments about drinking but it kind of makes sense. His wife also talks about booze all the time too.

They definitely got me into games I never would've even looked at, like Yakuza, Devil May Cry, Persona, Street Fighter 3, and Front Mission 3. All of those are some of my favorite games now.
