it was a fun movie
like the original it was cheesy B movie fun
i was a little annoyed that jennifer anistons character died off screen and that ozzie from the original movie died in the first 20 minutes

but some of the main cast was likable
and the ones that werent died
there were a few funny lines and the 2 characters i wanted to survive ended up surviving which is always nice

it was actually a lot of fun
i like it better than leprechaun 2 which bored the hell out of me as a kid and now as an adult
this one was just as cheestastic as the original IMO

now a few characters acted like idiots and it was hard to feel bad for them
like the one guy who stood still screaming help as a drone slowly drove towards him cutting his head off
he had a lot of time to run

remember the scene in the second movie where the bully character sticks his face into what he thinks is the female leads exposed breast but its really an illusion and he is sticking his face in a razer sharp fan blade?

that was the only scene that i found memorable from the second movie

But this looks fun. I didn't know it existed

the movie did have problems
like in the original when the characters gave him his gold he left. so giving him back his gold was literally an option for survival the only reason it didnt work in the first movie was because ollie swallowed a piece

now in this one he is two faced and made a deal with a girl and killed her anyway "i said i wouldnt lay a hand on you, i never said i wouldnt kill you"

and he seems to be planning on killing everyone after he got his gold back anyway

a running gag would be one character spouting a one liner and walking away only for everyone to point out they either dont know where they are going or dont have a plan

its even the last joke of the movie
a guy drives up with a car and asks what happened
the final girl gives a one liner and the survivors walk off in the distance
one survivor stops and points out "you know we do kind of need a ride cause im losing a lot of blood here:

then they turn back and walk back to the car

this movie sucks so much it doesn't even have its own wiki page

the only characters i really liked were the final girl and the black girl
im happy they both survived.

everyone else was tolerable but not characters i really cared if they survived or not

rose the hippie who survived until the last ten minutes was terrible though
when everyone ran from the leprechaun she hide in a closet meaning everyone had to go back for her.
then you find out that she found the leprechauns gold awhile ago and sent it into gold for cash to support her off the grid house
leaving only a little bit of gold left and not enough to use to try to save themselves with by giving it back

the trailer made it look like she would be badass but that scene from the trailer "i can handle a pocket sized pixie" is her death scene and nope she cant handle a pocket sized pixie"

not related to the real leprechaun movies at all
the leprechaun in that film is just a generic monster. it doesnt talk and its kills arent goofy or fun
it was a rather forgettable film
