Does the baby have a birth certificate or a social security number yet? No? That's not relevant to your 2018 tax year, especially since the baby hasn't actually been born yet. Miscarriages are a thing, after all.

The closest you could do is itemize your receipts related to child care so that when you can claim the kid, you'll have a back log of expenditures that were specifically purchased for said bundle of joy.
